Ruth I. Bowden
KITTERY - Ruth I. Bowden, 81, of 2 Lemont Lane, died Saturday, July 10, 1999, at the Homestead Nursing Home in Kittery.
Born Sept. 2, 1917, in Newport, N.H., she was the daughter of James E. and Carrie G. (Hurd) Crawford.
She was a member of the Nazarene Church of Eliot. She was an excellent homemaker and an especially good cook.
She was the wife of Henry Bowden Sr. for 58 years.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Henry Bowden Jr. of Kittery; and many nieces and nephews.
