Paul J. Corcoran
HAMPTON - The funeral for Paul J. Corcoran, 52, of 3 Jeffrey Drive, was held Monday from the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church. The Rev. Michael J. Griffin, senior priest, was the celebrant.
Nelson K. Ward was organist and Patricia Mackensen was soloist. Acolytes were William Pray, Paul Sullivan and Edward Wakeen.
Burial followed in the High Street Cemetery, with the committal service conducted by Rev. Griffin. Pallbearers were David Winston, Alex Winston, Ted Winston, Steven Buia, Paul Lepere and Sarmad Harake.
Norma R. Andrews
KITTERY POINT - Norma R. (Rowell) Andrews, 73, of 11 Hoyt's Island Lane, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 1999, at York Hospital.
Born Aug. 11, 1925, in Portsmouth, she was the daughter of Frank P. and Georgeina B. (Brock) Rowell. She was a 1943 graduate of Portsmouth High School in Portsmouth, N.H.
She was formerly employed as office manager at Navy Yard Oil Corp.
She was the wife of Frederic L. Andrews.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Cheryl A. Knowles and her husband, Charles T. III, of Eliot, and Susan Andrews of Sanibel Island, Fla.; four grandsons, David Anderson of Sanibel Island, and Chad Knowles, Christopher Knowles, and Patrick Knowles, all of Eliot; two sisters, Beverly R. Little of New London, N.H., and Joyce R. Seward of Kittery; a sister-in-law, Bobbie Rowell of Kittery; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Shirley A. Black, and a brother, Frank C. Rowell.
