Sally B. Woodward

NOTTINGHAM - The funeral for Sally B. Woodward, 87, of 15 Swan Drive, was held Tuesday in the Stockbridge Funeral Home, Exeter.

The Rev. Edward Whitman of the First Congregational Church, Barrington, officiated.

Burial was in Central Cemetery, Rye, with committal prayers by the Rev. Whitman.

Pallbearers were Robert Dockham, Joel Dockham, Keith Dockham, Shawn Dockham, Bruce Dockham, Doug Inman, and Ben Inman.

Patricia A. Porter

PORTSMOUTH - Patricia A. Porter, 54, of 245 Middle St., died unexpectedly Friday, Sept. 3, 1999, at her home.

She was born Aug. 22, 1945, in Rutland, Vt. She was a Portsmouth resident for the past seven years.

She was active in Operation Blessing.

Survivors include three sons, Matthew Porter of Greenland, Shawn Porter of Colony, N.Y., and Edward Porter of Rutland; two grandchildren, Matthew Porter Jr., and Kyle Fletcher.

Edith C. McCaddin

PORTSMOUTH - Edith C. McCaddin, 79, of 346 Pleasant St., died Sunday, Sept. 5, 1999, at the Mark Wentworth Home.

Born July 27, 1920, in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Stromblad) Wahlman.

She was raised in Newton Four Corners and was a graduate of Newton High School. She received her bachelor's degree in education from Radcliffe College and attended graduate school at the University of New Hampshire.

She taught for many years at Pease Air Force Base in the adult education program. She later worked for Foster's Daily Democrat in Dover. She was a former member of St. George's Episcopal Church in Durham.

She was the wife of the late Robert C. McCaddin.

Survivors include two sons, Mark S. McCaddin of Hampton and James R. McCaddin of Durham; a daughter, Edie C. McCaddin of Durham; three grandchildren, Kathleen Ann Kishbaugh, Deborah McCaddin, and Suzanne McCaddin; a sister, Barbro Widmark of Dover and several nieces and nephews.

Mary Jean Gleason

GLEASON - Mary Jean Gleason, 97, died Aug. 30, 1999. Friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Wednesday (today) at St. Theresa Church, Rye Beach. Burial will be private in Northampton, Mass. Memorial donations may be sent to St. Anthony's Shrine, 100 Arch St., Boston, MA 02107.
