Arthur B. Dolliver Sr.

NEWMARKET — Arthur B. Dolliver Sr., 71, of Sleepy Hollow Park, died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2000, in Exeter Hospital.

He was born Sept. 24, 1928, in Brewer, Maine, the son of Ferdinand and Gertrude (Lebritton) Dolliver, moving to Newmarket in 1975.

Mr. Dolliver was employed at the Shoe Doctor in Dover and had been a shoe cutter at Alrose Shoe, Exeter.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marilla (Boyce) Dolliver of Newmarket; four sons, Steven Dolliver and his wife Betty Ann of Dover, Ferdinand Dolliver of Chatanooga, Tenn., Bruce Dolliver of Lee and Arthur Dolliver Jr. of Newmarket; two daughters and their husbands, Patricia and Daniel Ramey of Clover, S.C., and Kathleen and Ronald McKenzie of Jackman, Maine; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank Dolliver of Norwich, Conn.; one sister, Hazel Savoy of Brewer, Maine; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one daughter, Trudy True, who died in 1992.

Private burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Newmarket.

Memorial donations may be made to the N.H. Heart Association, 20 Merrimack St., Suite 1, Manchester, NH 03103-2244.

Natalie M. Drelick

HAMPTON FALLS — Natalie M. Drelick, 70, of Drinkwater Road, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2000, in Exeter Hospital after a period of failing health.

She was born Jan. 19, 1930, in Exeter, the daughter of the late Carl A. and Jenny (Kreger) Meyer and had resided in Hampton since 1932.

She was a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1949 until 1952.

Mrs. Drelick was employed with Lucent Technologies for several years.

She was a member of the American Legion Post No. 105 of Kensington and the Telephone Pioneers of America.

The widow of Anthony R. Drelick, she is survived by three brothers, Carl Meyer of Cape Cod, Mass., John Meyer of Andover, Mass., and Bill Meyer of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Thursday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Michael Church, Exeter. Burial will follow in Exeter Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Roland C. Kimball

WOLFEBORO — Roland Charles Kimball, 86, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000, at Kirkwood Corner, Lee.

He was born Oct. 15, 1913, in Westborough, Mass., where he spent most of his life. He summered in Wolfeboro beginning in 1949, moving there permanently in 1977.

He was a graduate of Clark University.

He was U.S. Navy veteran of World War II entering the navy as an officer under a program for experienced pilots who could help train new flyers.

Mr. Kimball owned and operated Village Lumber and Fuel Oil Company in Westborough.

He was a deacon and trustee of the Congregational Church in Westborough for many years and was a member of the Rotary Club.

He was known for his generosity and humor.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Anne Kimball; two daughters, Holly Kimball of Stratford and Jean Brewitt of Wolfeboro; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. in the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice or to the Alzheimer's Foundation.

Henry S. Lisien

SEABROOK — Henry S. Lisien, 80, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2000, in Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, Mass.

He was born June 14, 1920, in Lowell, Mass., the son of the late John and Stefanida (Bucha) Lisien.

He was a 1937 graduate of Lowell High School, a 1965 graduate of Fitchburg State College with a bachelor of science degree in education and received his master's degree in education from Salem State College in 1969.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Mr. Lisien was the administrator of vocational education at Assabet Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School in Marlboro, Mass. He was previously a drafting instructor at the former Lowell Trade School for 17 years and worked at General Electric for 18 years.

He was a respected referee for regional collegiate, high school and semi-pro basketball for 28 years. He was a lifetime honorary member of the Greater Lowell Board No. 95 of the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials and served as the organization's first rules interpreter. and was a member of the Collegiate Basketball Officials Association.

He was a member of the Massachusetts Retired Teachers Association, the Massachusetts and American Vocational Teachers Associations and the American Association of Retired Persons.

Mr. Lisien attended St. Rita Church and St. Margaret Church while residing in Lowell.

He was an active member of the YMCA and was awarded an honorary life membership of the Greater Lowell Family YMCA.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dr. Ann M. (Manchenton) Lisien; two daughters and their husbands, Dr. Ann Marie and George Houghton of Seabrook and Ruth and Gary Buckley of Lowell; two sons, Henry C. Lisien and his wife Cherie of Lowell and John Lisien of Hampton; one daughter-in-law Barbara (Czaja) Lisien of Portland, Conn., and 11 grandchildren.

He was predeceased by one son, Leonard Lisien, DDS, and three brothers, Leonard Lisien, Charles Lisien and Walter Lisien.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8 a.m. in the O'Donnell Funeral Home, 276 Pawtucket St., Lowell, followed at 9 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rita Church, Lowell. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery.

Ustina Simons

HAMPTON — Ustina Simons, 84, of 7 Dearborn Ave., died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2000, at Seacoast Health Center.

She was born Dec. 18, 1915, in Portsmouth, the daughter of the late Harry R. and Hilda (Johanson) Carlson, and was a lifelong resident of Hampton.

She was a graduate of Hampton Academy.

Mrs. Simons was a clerk at McDormand's Menswear, Hampton, Aubuchon Hardware, North Hampton, and for the recreation department at Seacoast Health Center for 17 years. Following her retirement she continued at the health center as a volunteer for 14 years.

She was an active member of the First Congregational Church and its Ladies Guild.

The widow of Richard Simons, who died in 1961, she is survived by one son and his wife, Harold and Pat Simons of Hampton; one daughter, Elsa J. McCrea of St. Martin, West Indies; three grandchildren; one brother, Alfred Carlson of Alfred, Maine; one sister, Viola Stard of South Weymouth, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one sister, Margaret Trowbridge.

There are no visiting hours.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the First Congregational Church, Hampton. Burial will be in High Street Cemetery, Hampton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Congregational Church, 127 Winnacunnet Road, Hampton, NH 03842.

Arrangements are by the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, Hampton.

Percy R. Stanley

SEABROOK — Percy R. Stanley, 83, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2000, at his home.

He was born Oct. 21, 1916, in Porter, Maine, the son of the late Irving and Emma (Roberts) Stanley.

Mr. Stanley was a laborer for the town of Hampton and the state of New Hampshire and was also a house/building mover for Arthur Leavitt.

The widower of Sarah (Chase) Stanley, he is survived by two nieces, Martha (Littlefield) Settles and Annie Haughton, both of Seabrook; one nephew, Charles Lamie of Hampton; and several great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Irving Stanley Jr., and Archie Stanley; and three sisters, Virginia Lamie, Flossie Littlefield and Stella Hatch.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to the Seacoast Hospice, 10 Hampton Road, Exeter, NH 03833.

Arrangements were by the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, Hampton.

Edwin G. Watts

HAMPTON — Edwin G. Watts, 74, of 13 Josephine Drive, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2000, in Exeter Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born April 23, 1926, in Methuen, Mass., the son of the late Edwin and Mary (Crawley) Watts Sr. He had resided in the Seacoast area for 45 years.

He was a graduate of Methuen High School, Boston University and the University of Maine.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Mr. Watts was an auditor for the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission, and was a bank examiner for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. He was formerly a building contractor in the seacoast area.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Deborah (Smith) Watts of Hampton; two daughters, Susan Bolash and her husband Robert of Harrisburg, Pa., and Lauren Watts of Hampton; one son, Michael Watts of Hampton; his mother-in-law, Anna Rand Smith of Exeter; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday in the Brewitt Funeral Home. Burial was in Exeter Cemetery.
