8:56 a.m. - Police responded to a Lafayette Road store where a manager said a homeless person refused to leave and was "challenging him to a fight."
10:19 a.m. - A State Street caller reported a dog at large.
12:38 p.m. - An injured person was transferred to the hospital following a car crash on Congress Street.
1:57 p.m. - Following the report of a hit-and-run accident at Market Street, police arrested Erin LaChance, 26, of 26 Osprey Lane, York, Maine, on a charge of disobeying an officer.
2:32 p.m. - Police took a report about a truant high school student.
3:22 p.m. - Police arrested David Owens, 27, of 378 Norfolk St., Cambridge, Mass., on a warrant for theft from a building.
4:19 p.m. - Officers took a report about harassment from a resident.
4:25 p.m. - A Cate Street caller reported finding a Mongoose bicycle.
4:42 p.m. - Police were asked to check on three males carrying silver cases into the library and discovered the cases were portable poker playing sets.
5:40 p.m. - Police arrested Danielle Grant, 26, of 5 Winterberry St., South Portland, Maine, on charges of criminal trespass and simple assault.
6:39 p.m. - Following a report about a stolen DVD player and ATM card, police arrested Corey Lee, 22, with no known address, on a warrant for drug possession.
7:28 p.m. - Officers were called to Cottage Street for a domestic dispute.
8:01 p.m. - Police arrested Ronald Adrien, 44, of 77 High St., Somersworth, on charges of drug possession and for an outstanding warrant.
9:29 p.m. - Police were called to Ledgewood Drive for a report of a man trying to get into a laundry room.
10:26 p.m. - A resident near the bypass complained about a truck using jake brakes in the area.
April 4
Police arrested Robert Pinette, 36, of the Brewster Street rooming house, on charges of driving while intoxicated and a second charge of being a two-time DWI offender.
