Philias A. "Flip" Biladeau
KINGSTON -- Philias A. "Flip" Biladeau, 84, of Kingston, formerly of Exeter, died Thursday, April 5, 2007, at the Colonial Poplin Nursing Home in Fremont.
He was born Nov. 11, 1922, in Exeter, son of the late Alfred and Ruth (Moore) Biladeau.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army.
Mr. Biladeau worked for many years as an assembler for Exeter area shoe manufacturers. He was a communicant of St. Michael Church, was a member of American Legion Post 32, enjoyed woodworking and was an avid golfer.
He was the husband of the late Yvonne M. (LaChance) Biladeau.
Family members include nieces and nephews Heather, Mark, Fred and Bonnie Biladeau, Donald and Gary Brabant and Mary Chapman.
Mr. Biladeau was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Eugene Biladeau; and his sister, Ruth Brabant.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Church, at the corner of Front and Lincoln streets in Exeter. Burial will follow in the Exeter Cemetery. Emory J. Davis
HAMPTON -- Emory J. Davis of Hampton, formerly of Charlestown, Mass., died Friday, April 6, 2007.
Mr. Davis was the husband of Kathryn T. (Rumley) Davis; father of Mark Davis and his wife Neusa Miranda of Hampton, Jean LaTerz of Brookline, Mass., William LaTerz of Easthampton, Mass., Michael LaTerz of Woburn, Mass., and Marge LaTerz of Mt. Shasta, Calif.; the grandfather of Ben Davis-Will, Kristine and David Johnson, and Renata and Thiago Santos.
He was a World War II veteran in the U.S. Coast Guard, a member of Bunker Hill Council 62, Knights of Columbus, and a retired employee of the city of Boston.
SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Frank H. Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown, Mass., followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St., Charlestown, Mass. Relatives and friends are invited.
Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden, Mass. Blenda Zocchi
NEWMARKET -- Blenda Zocchi, 83, formerly of Maplecrest, died Saturday, April 7, 2007, at the Rockingham Nursing Home in Brentwood after a long illness.
Born Oct. 25, 1923, in Exeter, she was the daughter of Alexander and Clara (Hanson) Bell. Raised in Exeter, she was a graduate of Robinson Female Seminary and had lived in Newmarket for 46 years.
For many years she was a telephone operator at New England Tel & Tel in Exeter. Mrs. Zocchi was a devoted wife and mother, and a loving grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Mario L. Zocchi, who died in 2002.
Survivors include a son, Paul Zocchi and his wife Cathy of Lee; a daughter, Marsha Edwards and her husband Albert of Exeter; four grandsons, Mark and Dan Zocchi and Craig and Scott Edwards; a brother, John Bell and his wife Thelma of Exeter; and several nephews.
SERVICES: A wake service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home, 77 Exeter St., Newmarket. Graveside services will follow in the Exeter Cemetery.
